Volunteer Work

Throughout my career, there have been several organizations and causes I have supported and continue to support:

North American Association of Asian Professionals (link)
I joined the North American Association of Asian Professionals (NAAAP) in 2013 as Director of Marketing. I was tasked with the marketing and social media activities for the Toronto chapter and I also regularly attended board meetings to plan upcoming events.
Being a part of NAAAP was a very valuable experience to me. I met many Asian-Canadian professionals from a variety of industries and it was very rewarding to be a part of a community that aimed to build leaders.

Yorkville Exotic Car Show (link)
The Yorkville Exotic Car Show is an annual event that takes place in Toronto to raise awareness and funds for Prostate Cancer Canada. I enjoy being able to put my paid social media skills to use for a great cause— and who wouldn’t want to be surrounded by exotic cars for a day?!

Live Your Potential Program (link)
Through connections I made during my time at NAAAP, I was introduced to Dr. Jean Kim and Lilit Simonyan—the co-founders of Live Your Potential (LYP). LYP offers a Women’s Leadership & Career Development Program which I am a proud graduate of. The program taught me many things about how to grow professionally and personally without losing sight of your values.
